These thoughts have been on my mind lately. As a musician, writer, entertainer i've made my living these last 30 years. My career has gone through a few different incarnations. What used to terrify me was the end of something successful. But that is now the exciting part. I have stopped and reinvented myself a couple of times. The third and maybe last transformation I can feel has already begun. I follow my muse, my soul's desire to the work. Things just seem to work out. I do get anxious and compare myself to others. These are part of my neurosis. Which I don't think can be changed. We can make them less important, smaller. When those feelings come up I stop and remind myself each of us are on our own journey, our particular path. We can observe others. But, they have little do with our story. A life is our myth we collaborate with through the air, water, space and time. Sometimes we're a wreck sometimes we rhyme

In my experience, wealth and fame amplify what’s inside. It can be traumatic, but it can be a positive trauma.
