great piece. another thing I've tried to cut down on recently are podcasts. slowly came to realize that they are a Trojan horse to fill your brain with other people's beliefs.
i suppose part of the reason for this is that there is just so much more content - naturally the averages keep tending towards useless or zero. I happen to think the landscape will evolve eventually & a billion niches will flourish.
