I met people of all ages and cultures, and the bonds you form when you’re in the trenches are so strong. I remember leaving the last one I ever worked, I got a spontaneous guard of honor as all the chefs lined up to say bye to me, and I was a waiter! Shows the impact you can have on people.
I’ve always said if I could have earned a decent salary in that kind of job (without going into management), I wouldn’t have left.

I miss making sandwiches many days too, feels good to feed people
Couldn't agree more. Everyone should work some kind of retail, manual labor, food service, customer facing position.
I would also say that kids should want to work, not just sent by their parents. Put some money earned into the bank.
The chart is also likely skewed by older people (who still need income or are bored) in jobs historically held by teenagers.

He is really authentic and has been doing this a long time for love of the game, not at all a corporate suit/consulting type
