Take everything with a grain of salt, these days, a few grains. I’m not as down on the doomsayers as they can make some very good points and while I believe there is nothing wrong in prepping for a rainy day I also don’t put all my eggs in that one basket.

I like this. I don't know that I like the idea of no regulation, that we can just rely on the developers and business to guide it in the right way. I'm super thankful for the ethicists that work on it. That said, I'll investigate my own opinions on this further. As usual, thanks!

So true. Thank you for summarizing what many of us have started to sense. I have unsubscribed to a half-dozen smart writers on Substack that got stuck in A.I. doom loops. I hope they read this and reset.

Ok fools, believe what you want. But when people say to me that my built in skepticism spikes when told to "trust" the developers" I say FU. Anybody hear of mRNA? That bunch of poison that you might have taken on "trust". Problem we face is how do we know who to believe, government is totally corrupt, industry watchdogs, ditto. Tell me again it is perfectly safe 10 years from now fools.
